Tax Incentives

NJCEP Rebates (Suspended)


The New Jersey Clean Energy Program (NJCEP) provides cash rebates towards the installation of solar electric systems. For residential systems rated as under 10 kW in size, the NJCEP will provide $1.35 per watt (maximum of $13,500).

Federal Investment Tax Credits (ITC)

Residents that install grid connected solar systems are eligible to qualify for a Federal Investment Tax Credit amounting to 30% of the purchase price of the solar system.

The annual sale of SRECs provides the solar system owner with income to help to amortize the cost of solar system.
