Solar installations are tailored for each location and engineered to accommodate different types of roofs or ground locations. To determine which location is best suited for a solar system, our solar applications team will survey the proposed facility to determine the preferred location(s) and the type of solar modules that can be accommodated. Solar modules need to be oriented towards the south without shading. After the initial review, bysolar will review the following issues with the prospect:
Analyze electrical consumption, demand charges, and utility charges
Determine the size of solar system that can be accommodated
Provide an economics summary and purchasing arrangement
Recommend solar modules, location, and mounting method
Propose the location of the solar electrical equipment and cable runs
Review of finance or leasing options
Review contract issues with the prospect
Review the environmental benefits of the proposed solar system
Determine the need for an energy efficiency audit for the location
bysolar will then provide a cost estimate, installation plan, timetable, and contract for the purchase of the solar system.
A presentation reviewing the performance, installation details, and economics is held for the prospect's corporate team.
Warranties & Maintenance
Solar electric modules are warranted for 20 to 25 years and will still be producing electricity more than 30 after installation. There is a 10 year manufacturers warranty on the entire installation. With no moving parts to wear out and almost zero maintenance, solar electric systems provide electricity reliably and silently.
